Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leopold Dechamps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abraham Sedano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Leopold Dechamps has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dechamps misses with a takedown

and Sedano counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sedano.

Let's hope that Sedano has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Sedano closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dechamps had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sedano defends it easily.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sedano accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Sedano stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dechamps swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dechamps lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sedano!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sedano really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dechamps. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dechamps is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Sedano scores with a couple of nice shots.

Sedano takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Sedano is nestled in close to Dechamps, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
