Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ferdinando Ferrari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Bundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bundy is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by God Hates a Coward. Ferdinando Ferrari has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ferdinando Ferrari!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alan Bundy!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferrari wants to clinch up but Bundy keeps it at a distance.

Ferrari throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bundy tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ferrari is in Bundy's guard.
Ferrari sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bundy's guard.
Bundy keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Ferrari is pressing down on Bundy's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bundy is holding on for now.
Ferrari thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Bundy keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Bundy looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Ferrari seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bundy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ferrari is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bundy sees it coming and defends easily.
Bundy is not content to let Ferrari control the position.
Bundy is looking for a sweep. Ferrari is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Ferrari is looking to take a break and control but Bundy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Ferrari is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Ferrari in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Ferrari is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Bundy's shoulder. That is not cool.
Ferrari throws a strike aimed at the side of Bundy's head but Bundy avoids it well.
Bundy tries to escape but Ferrari is in control.

Ferrari swings around for an armbar but Bundy sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ferrari's guard.

Ferrari throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Bundy escapes and throws Ferrari's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bundy tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Ferrari is trying to control Bundy's posture but Bundy avoids it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ferrari is trying to improve his position.
Ferrari manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

so Ferrari counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Bundy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ferrari defends it easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ferrari accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Ferrari has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bundy is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Ferrari lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ferrari controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Ferrari with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Ferrari works over Bundy with some ground and pound from guard.
Ferrari passes into half guard.

Ferrari looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Ferrari is working for a kimura but Bundy is defending it quite comfortably.
Ferrari takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Bundy manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Ferrari looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Bundy just misses with a punch to the body.

A punch lands to the side of Bundy 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Ferrari avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bundy stuffs the takedown attempt from Ferrari. Ferrari gets slowly back to his feet.
Bundy takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Ferrari decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ferrari works his foot free and advances to mount.
Ferrari scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Bundy sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Ferrari is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bundy defends it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ferrari is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Bundy is looking to escape.

Ferrari is nestled in close to Bundy, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Bundy is looking to escape.
Bundy wants to get back to full guard.
Bundy on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Bundy wants to improve his position but Ferrari is controlling well.
Ferrari winds up and cracks Bundy with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Ferrari shoots in for a takedown but Bundy shows good takedown defense.
Nice straight punches there by Bundy. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bundy.
Bundy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ferrari.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bundy has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Ferrari should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Bundy has tightened it up now! Ferrari should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
