The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magnin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Vonny at a distance.
Magnin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vonny as he jumps to the side.
Magnin pushes Vonny away with a front kick.
Magnin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Vonny.
Vonny on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Chad Vonny has been cut.
Vonny throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Magnin.
Vonny swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Vonny thows a body shot but no joy.

Vonny steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Magnin.

Magnin shoots for a double leg takedown but Vonny sprawls well. He's pushed Magnin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Magnin scores with a crisp jab that stopped Vonny in his tracks.

Magnin shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Vonny napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Magnin throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Vonny tries to bench press Magnin off him but Magnin keeps the position.

Vonny lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Vonny slaps away a takedown attempt from Magnin, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Vonny keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Vonny.
Magnin has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Vonny throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Magnin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Magnin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Vonny pounces like a tiger and cracks Magnin with a vicious hook! Magnin is down but not out! Vonny follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
