The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Maguire closes the distance and clinches.
Maguire keeps control of Lanchester as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Lanchester lands a body shot.
Lanchester wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Lanchester breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Maguire shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lanchester pinned against the cage. Lanchester gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Maguire shoots for a double leg takedown but Lanchester sprawls well. He's pushed Maguire's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Maguire throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lanchester's waist but Lanchester gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Maguire off to one side.
Maguire shoots in looking for a takedown. Lanchester tries to sprawl out of it but Maguire keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lanchester manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
A head kick misses from Lanchester.
Maguire fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lanchester sprawls well initially but Maguire persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Coulton Maguire will probably get the nod.

Maguire closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lanchester did well to prevent Maguire getting side control.
