Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcello Garza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Miroslaw Krawy!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Krawy has Garza up against the cage in a clinch.
Garza using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Krawy has Garza pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Krawy pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Garza tumbling to the mat - Krawy dives into Garza's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Krawy looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
It looks like Krawy might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Krawy tries to stand but Garza is controlling from the bottom.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Miroslaw Krawy was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Garza attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Krawy circles away from the clinch attempt

and Krawy counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Garza wants to improve his position but Krawy is controlling well.
Garza wants to sweep but Krawy has passed to side control!
Garza tries to buck Krawy off but Krawy is having none of it.
Krawy wants to stand but Garza is controlling his arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Garza tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Krawy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Krawy wants to stand but Garza is controlling his arm.

Garza manages to get to full guard.

Garza is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Krawy postures up.
Krawy tries to stand but Garza is controlling from the bottom.
Krawy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Krawy avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Krawy lands a couple of elbows.
Garza will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Krawy works over Garza with some ground and pound from guard.
Krawy won't allow Garza to sweep him here.
Krawy trying to control the position from guard on top but Garza is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Krawy is looking to stand up but Garza won't let him.

Garza looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Krawy is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Krawy wants to control from the top but Garza keeps moving.

Miroslaw Krawy has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Garza enables Krawy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Garza manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Krawy looks winded!

Garza has his feet on Krawy's thighs here. He's pushed Krawy off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Krawy screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
