Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Caius Lehtonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calib Mcdonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcdonald has chosen Jay-Z-Bring em Out as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcdonald tries for a takedown but Lehtonen circles away easily

and Lehtonen counters by moving into the clinch.
Mcdonald throws a head punch that misses.

Mcdonald tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Lehtonen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Lehtonen closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mcdonald's guard.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Lehtonen's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Mcdonald looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lehtonen has picked Mcdonald up and slammed him! Mcdonald can't keep hold of the triangle and Lehtonen manages to pass to side control!
Lehtonen is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Mcdonald's shoulder. That is not cool.
Mcdonald is not content to let Lehtonen control the position.
