Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kristian Julstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Archibald Tuttle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tuttle has chosen RAWR as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tuttle fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Julstrom, pushing him back against the cage.
A shot in the inside from Tuttle.

Tuttle manages to break the clinch.

Tuttle moves into range and clinches up with Julstrom.

Tuttle breaks the clinch.

Tuttle rushes Julstrom and presses him up against the cage.
Tuttle tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Tuttle breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Donk. Tuttle catches Julstrom right on the button with a cross.
Julstrom throws a right and a left that both miss.
Julstrom throws out a loose jab but Tuttle uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tuttle lunges at Julstrom with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Julstrom's hand.
Tuttle throws a leg kick which misses Julstrom's front leg but catches the back leg as Julstrom tries to avoid it.
Tuttle swats away the attempt to clinch by Julstrom.

Tuttle drives through and clinches with Julstrom against the cage.

Tuttle breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Julstrom takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Tuttle gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Tuttle decides to stand up.
Tuttle throws a hook but Julstrom blocks it.
Archibald Tuttle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tuttle moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Tuttle swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Tuttle shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Tuttle was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tuttle is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Julstrom is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Tuttle wants to control but Julstrom is keeping him busy.
Julstrom gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Julstrom's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Tuttle cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
A nice elbow there by Tuttle.
Tuttle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Tuttle connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Tuttle is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Julstrom has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Tuttle is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Julstrom is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Julstrom is bucking up trying to escape but Tuttle cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The referee warns Julstrom that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Tuttle cracks Julstrom with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Tuttle fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Oh Julstrom is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tuttle looking to control but Julstrom is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Julstrom seems to have got his legs back now.

Tuttle is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Tuttle!
