The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams Jr shoots in looking for a takedown but Colorado manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Williams Jr's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Colorado displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Williams Jr.
Colorado cracks Williams Jr with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Williams Jr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Colorado's waist but Colorado gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Williams Jr off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kendall Williams Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
