Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Choke Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angel McClelland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell comes to the cage accompanied by Intro - DMX. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Choke Liddell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Angel McClelland!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McClelland moves to clinch but Liddell breaks away
and McClelland takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
McClelland tries for a takedown but Liddell circles away easily
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
McClelland tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Liddell counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
McClelland fails with the takedown
and Liddell makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
McClelland misses with a takedown attempt

and Liddell counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Choke Liddell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Angel McClelland.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Liddell trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
McClelland is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Liddell is controlling him.
McClelland looks winded!
McClelland can't keep his opponent in guard - Liddell advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Liddell sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. McClelland defending well though.
Liddell has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Liddell takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
McClelland takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Liddell controlling the pace for now.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Angel McClelland has been cut.
Liddell in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.


That has opened up Angel McClelland's cut even more.
McClelland takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Liddell's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

During a confident post fight interview, Choke Liddell thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
