The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mifsud motions for Benoit to come forward. Mifsud throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Mifsud avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Michael Benoit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
