The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Persson slips a jab from Khan.
Khan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
The fighters circling - Khan throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Khan throws a hook but Persson blocks it.
Persson misses with a body kick.
Persson blocks a jab.
Khan throws a poor cross that misses
and Persson counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Persson has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Khan is trying to keep an underhook but Persson manages to get the takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Khan looks like he's trying to stand up.
Persson has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Khan defend it? Persson steps over the head and cranks it - Khan is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Persson!
