The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahmed doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Kita counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kita.

Ahmed wants to control but Kita is keeping busy.

Kita turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Kita manages to end up in side control.
