PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bang Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Alvarez kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a lazy body kick
and Bang counters with a nice uppercut.
Bang wants to land a leg kick but Johnson is out of range.
Bang checks a leg kick.
Bang swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Johnson throws a low kick but Bang moves out of range easily.
Bang scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Johnny Johnson has been cut.
Johnson misses with a left hand
and Bang counters with a nice uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johnson scores with a leg kick.
Johnson tries to land a leg kick but Bang saw it coming and moves away.
Bang misses the shot to the body.
Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bang fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Johnson.
That kick from Johnson tenderised Bang's leg. Bang is trying to keep his angry face on.
Johnson shoots in but Bang avoids the takedown attempt easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bang lands with a straight right. Johnson didn't see that one coming.
Bang scores with a shot to the body.
The fighters circle momentarily. Bang darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Johnson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Johnson moves forwards but Bang connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Johnson closes the distance and clinches.
Johnson dodges an elbow strike from Bang.
Bang misses with a punch on the inside.
Johnson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bang up against the cage.
Johnson can't find room to land a body shot as Bang controls the action.
A hook to the body from Bang.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A nice right hand lands inside from Johnson.
Johnson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Bang has Johnson pressed against the cage.
Johnson throws a head punch that misses.
Bang tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Bang lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Bang misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Bang lands an uppercut.
Johnson lands a hook to the side of the head.
Bang lands an elbow inside.
Bang creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Johnson's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Johnson drops to his knees and Bang pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
