Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franco Micheli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krystyn Kavanagh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kavanagh has chosen Julie Ruin- VGi as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Franco Micheli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Krystyn Kavanagh!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kavanagh rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Micheli moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Micheli will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kavanagh.
Kavanagh gets the takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Micheli is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kavanagh asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Kavanagh grinds an elbow into Micheli's temple.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kavanagh lands a few punches from side control.
Kavanagh cracks Micheli with a big elbow.
Micheli on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Micheli tries to get out of the position.
Micheli wants to get back to his feet but Kavanagh drags him back down.
Kavanagh scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Micheli to see if he's OK.
Micheli is rocked!
Kavanagh lands a strong strike to the head of Micheli. That's dazed him! Kavanagh looking to finish here. Micheli is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Kavanagh lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Krystyn Kavanagh!
