Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brent Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seppo Susikasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes to the cage accompanied by Contracts - Hitman Theme. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brent Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Seppo Susikasi!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams shoots for a takedown but Susikasi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Williams shoots in for a double leg but Susikasi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Susikasi stuffs the takedown attempt from Williams. Williams gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brent Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Susikasi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Williams to the mat! Williams manages to get full guard.

Susikasi moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Williams has worked his arm free - good work by Williams!
Susikasi is working Williams over with some ground and pound from side control.

Susikasi looks up at the clock and then as Williams takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Susikasi smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Williams tries to buck Susikasi off but Susikasi is having none of it.

Susikasi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Susikasi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Susikasi lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Susikasi trying to control the action but Williams is working from the bottom.
Susikasi works to advance to full mount. Williams defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Williams is trying desperately to improve position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Seppo Susikasi dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Williams tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Susikasi stuffs the takedown.

Susikasi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Williams with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Susikasi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Susikasi tries to free his leg and advance position but Williams is retaining full guard.

Susikasi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Williams swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Susikasi distracts Williams with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Susikasi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Susikasi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Williams has his foot on Susikasi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Susikasi works his way back into a safe position though.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Susikasi is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Williams is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Williams flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Susikasi anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Williams and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Susikasi slips an arm under Williams chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Susikasi has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Susikasi is squeezing on Williams like an anaconda would it's prey. Williams fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Seppo Susikasi!
