Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pete Butcher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Borin Chim!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Kavanagh and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chim throws out a leg kick but Butcher moves out of range and Chim only half commits.
Butcher tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chim was well out of range. Poor timing from Butcher.
Butcher throws a wild body kick that Chim sees coming a mile off.
Butcher takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Butcher connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Chim's hands.
Butcher throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Chim tries to land a front kick but Butcher steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Butcher throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Butcher lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Chim chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Butcher can pounce on him.
Chim has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Chim there as he acknowledges the shot.

so Chim counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chim accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Butcher's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

The fighters circle momentarily. Butcher darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
No luck for Chim with that takedown attempt.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Butcher lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Chim has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Chim and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Chim connects with a good right hand that stumbles Butcher. Butcher circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Butcher does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Chim fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Butcher has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Borin Chim comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
