The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Luther takes the fight into the clinch.

Louis jumps into guard, dragging Luther to the mat.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Louis throwing short punches from the bottom.
Louis looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Louis manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Louis throws a wild left hand from mount and Luther manages to wriggle his way back to half guard.
Louis seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Louis stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Luther to get to his feet.

Blake Luther seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Luther leaves Louis with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Louis gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Luther to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Luther gets caught flat footed, as Louis shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

It looks like Louis might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

OK we're going to have a standup here. DeAndre Louis hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Luther gets tackled into the cage by Louis. Louis maintains the clinch.
Luther is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Blake Luther has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DeAndre Louis.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Louis is trying to drag Luther to the mat but Luther just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Louis has Luther pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Louis pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Luther tumbling to the mat - Louis dives into Luther's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Luther defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Louis.
Luther fails with the takedown.
Louis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Luther tries to avoid it but Louis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Luther to the ground. Luther escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Louis delivers a nice body kick.

Louis throws a head kick that Luther semi-blocks.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Louis fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Luther avoids it really well and circles away.

Louis scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Louis fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Luther to the ground. Louis is now in Luther's guard.

Louis stands up over Luther, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Louis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Louis decides to return to a standing position.
Louis tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Luther manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Louis closes the distance but Luther moves to the side
and Luther counters with a one-two to the body.
Blake Luther is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Louis lands a jab-cross combination.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Louis can't get the takedown.

Louis drags the fight down to the ground.
Louis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Luther manages to get himself to full guard.
Louis passes into half guard.
Luther is trying to get back to full guard.
Louis seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Louis content to control rather than advance.
Louis's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Louis landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Louis looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Luther knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Louis on the ground.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Louis thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Luther's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

DeAndre Louis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Luther enables Louis to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Luther manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Louis decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Luther, up you get!
Louis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Luther circles away.
Louis throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Louis clinches up with Luther and pushes him back against the cage.

Louis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Louis gets control of Luther's arms and successfully pulls guard. Louis will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
DeAndre Louis has got the better of the ground game so far.
Louis seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Louis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Luther gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Louis controls Luther momentarily but Luther frees himself.

Louis throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Louis thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Louis is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Luther gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Louis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Luther manages to get himself to full guard.
Louis passes Luther's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Luther has hold of Louis's hands but Louis slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Louis works his way into full mount!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Louis cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Louis has isolated one of Luther's arms. Luther looking to fight him off but Louis twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
