The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kharitonov darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Letto misses with a jab, cross combination.
Letto throws a right and a left that Kharitonov avoids nicely.
Letto fails to land with a series of punches.
Kharitonov throws a nice looking combination but Letto bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Letto moves out of range as Kharitonov strikes.
Nice jab there from Letto.
Kharitonov misses with a straight left.
Letto throws a series of punches but Kharitonov moves out of range.
Letto looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Kharitonov takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Letto throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sergei Kharitonov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kharitonov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Letto counters with a left to the body.
Kharitonov looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Kharitonov throws out a loose jab but Letto uses good head movement to avoid it.
Letto lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kharitonov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Letto moves away.
Letto fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Letto throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

A looping hook to the body misses from Kharitonov. Letto does a little dance to reset his feet.
Letto ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kharitonov moves away.
Letto looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Letto steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kharitonov.
Letto lands with a hook. Kharitonov tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Sloppy strikes from Letto. Those never looked like landing.
A big right from Kharitonov misses.
Letto uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kharitonov.
Kharitonov throws a lazy right hand but Letto sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kharitonov gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Kharitonov tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Letto is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Kharitonov buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Kharitonov!! Kharitonov is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Letto throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
