Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Julius Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bat Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel comes to the cage accompanied by Its a Fight. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel misses with a low kick.
Man fails with the takedown.
Steel throws a series of punches but Man avoids them all with ease.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Man is defended easily by Steel.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Man.
Julius Steel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bat Man.
Man shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Steel as he avoids it easily.
Bat Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Man throws a series of punches but Steel moves out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Man.
Man rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Steel moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Man is defended easily by Steel.
Steel slips a jab and a cross from Man.
Steel fails to land with a series of punches.
Steel avoids a punch combination nicely.
Steel bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Man's head backwards.
Steel is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Man.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Man.
Steel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Steel displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Man.
Man walks into a stiff left hand from Steel.

Man ducks straight into an uppercut from Steel and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Man manages to regain guard straight away.

Man is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Steel is looking to stand up but Man won't let him.
Man is still in real trouble! Can Steel finish him?
Steel has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Man working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Steel doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Steel manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Man seems to have recovered his senses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Steel postures up.
Steel wants to stand and escape but instead Man has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Steel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Steel tries to get out of the position.

Steel is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Man is aware though and is defending well.

Man prevents Steel from getting back to his feet.
Man won't allow Steel to sweep him here.
Man pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Steel is keeping the position for now.
Man wants to control from the top but Steel keeps moving.
Man forces his way into half guard.
Man is trying to control the action in half guard but Steel is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Steel is trying to control but can't.
Man is looking to advance position but Steel won't allow it.
Steel tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Man has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Man trying to control but Steel is having none of it.
Steel tries to hold on but Man pushes him away.

Man goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Steel turns into him and now he's in Man's guard.

Steel would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Steel avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Steel tries to free his leg and advance position but Man is retaining full guard.
Steel trying to stand up but can't free himself from Man's guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Man has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Steel should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Man has tightened it up now! Steel should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
