Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Pavement (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gianpiero Tassotti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tassotti has chosen Alphazone - Stay as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pavement closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tassotti to the mat! Tassotti manages to get full guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Pavement preventing the sweep.
Tassotti has control of Pavement's left arm, preventing Pavement from doing any damage.

Pavement thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Pavement drops back looking for a leg! Tassotti is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tassotti manages to kick Pavement off! Pavement jumps back into Tassotti's guard.

Tassotti keeping moving, preventing Pavement from controlling successfully.
Tassotti really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pavement. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tassotti is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Tassotti is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Tassotti wants to get back to his feet but Pavement is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Gianpiero Tassotti was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Nice takedown defense from Tassotti. No joy for Pavement on that attempt.
Tassotti ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Pavement shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tassotti pinned against the cage. Tassotti gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Pavement ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tassotti moves away.
Pavement misses the shot to the body.
Pavement fails with a takedown attempt.

Pavement uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tassotti.
The fighters circling - Tassotti throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

A looping hook to the body misses from Pavement. Tassotti does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pavement missing with a left hand there. Tassotti was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Tassotti slaps away a takedown attempt from Pavement, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Pavement misses with a kick to the body.
Tassotti jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Pavement moves away from the strike by Tassotti.
Tassotti's jab looks to have found its range, popping Pavement under the eye.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tassotti throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pavement sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Pavement is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Tassotti's half guard.
Tassotti is looking to get back to full guard here but Pavement has managed to pass to side control instead.
Pavement prevents Tassotti from escaping the position.

Pavement is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tassotti knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
