Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Staale Dal!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Scene is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dal's half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Scene looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Scene stops Dal from getting back to his feet.

Scene is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dal defends it well.

Scene is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Scene wants to take a breather but Dal is having none of it.

Scene looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Dal is pushing Scene's head away, looking to escape. Scene manages to hold on to the position though.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Scene is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dal knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Dal is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Scene goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Dal has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Scene but great work by Dal.
Scene on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Scene tries to get out of the position.
