The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OMalley lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Steve Stevenson has been cut.
Stevenson dodges the punch combination from OMalley.
Stevenson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but OMalley manages to avoid it.
Stevenson misses with a straight left.
OMalley scores with a jab.
Stevenson misses with a body kick.
OMalley stuffs the takedown.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
No joy there for OMalley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice body punch from OMalley.
OMalley throws a nice looking combination but Stevenson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
OMalley misses with a series of wild punches.
Stevenson just misses with a punch to the body.
OMalley misses with a wild body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stevenson shoots for a takedown but OMalley saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Stevenson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve Stevenson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
OMalley scores with a shot to the body.
OMalley lands a glancing blow to the side of Stevenson's head.
OMalley throws a series of punches but Stevenson avoids them all with ease.

Horrible takedown by Stevenson or perhaps it was just good defense by OMalley which made him look bad.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

OMalley drops Stevenson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Stevenson looks back up at him and smiles so OMalley waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Stevenson is rocked!

Steve Stevenson's cut is getting worse.
Stevenson is aggressively charging in as OMalley backs up avoiding any damage. OMalley tosses out a jab and Stevenson runs right into it face first! Stevenson is out cold! OMalley dropped down on all fours and is barking in Stevenson's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

After winning the bout, Mike OMalley thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
