Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alak Aksornpan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Aksornpan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Thai National Anthem - "Phleng Chat Thai". On his way into the cage it seems that Alak Aksornpan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Alak Aksornpan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reynolds looks to clinch
and Aksornpan counters with a nice body shot.

Reynolds feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Reynolds is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Aksornpan wants to get back to his feet but Reynolds is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reynolds accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Reynolds wants to control from the top but Aksornpan keeps moving.

Aksornpan can't keep his opponent in guard - Reynolds advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Reynolds is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Aksornpan has managed to free his arm - good work.
Reynolds throwing shots but Aksornpan is blocking nicely.
Reynolds throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Reynolds winds up and cracks Aksornpan with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Reynolds is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Aksornpan is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
