The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stirling lands the left hand.

It looks like Mark Candle has been cut.
Stirling lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Stirling getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Candle will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Candle walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Stirling looks to score with a jab to the body but Candle is just out of range.

Stirling lands a big uppercut and Candle crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Candle looks OK. Stirling waves Candle back to his feet!

Candle is rocked!

Stirling dances in with a quick combination. Candle is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Stirling snaps Candle's head back. Candle stumbles backwards against the cage. Stirling steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Candle's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Candle just didn't come prepared.

Dee Stirling opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
