The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Zues did well to prevent Johnson getting side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Zues jerks Johnson's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Johnson drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Zues goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Zues because Johnson was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
