Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alistar Krillan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ula Cleo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krillan thumps Cleo with a low kick.
Krillan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cleo.
Cleo stuffs the takedown.
Cleo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Krillan is fending him off so far but Cleo persists. Nope, Krillan circles away and we're back to standing.
Krillan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Cleo shoots for a double leg takedown but Krillan sprawls well. He's pushed Cleo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Alistar Krillan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ula Cleo.
Cleo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Krillan pinned against the cage. Krillan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nice sprawl there from Cleo as Krillan shoots in.
Horrible takedown by Krillan or perhaps it was just good defense by Cleo which made him look bad.
Krillan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cleo but Cleo pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Krillan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Cleo is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Krillan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Krillan goes for a takedown attempt but Cleo pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Cleo misses with a takedown attempt - Krillan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Cleo leaves Krillan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Krillan closes the distance and clinches up with Cleo, looking for a takedown. Krillan pushes Cleo against the cage but Cleo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Cleo tries to keep at a distance but Krillan has taken the fight into the clinch.

Krillan gets through Cleo's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Krillan is looking for a takedown.
Cleo stops a takedown attempt from Krillan.
Krillan tries to pull guard but Cleo holds him up against the cage and eventually Krillan drops back down to his feet.
Krillan tries for a takedown but Cleo manages to get underhooks.

Krillan makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Cleo wants a takedown.
Cleo prevents the takedown attempt.
Cleo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Krillan pulls his leg out and moves away.
Krillan slaps away a takedown attempt from Cleo, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Krillan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Cleo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Krillan controls the pace.
Krillan is looking to stand up but Cleo won't let him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Alistar Krillan.

Krillan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cleo swivels and escapes.
Krillan shoots and misses

and Cleo moves into the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Krillan pulls guard.
Krillan working a defensive guard but Cleo manages to pass into side control anyway.

Krillan successfully pulls guard.

Krillan looking for subs off his back but Cleo has passed one foot through into half guard.

Cleo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Krillan is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Krillan has a hand on Cleo's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Cleo takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Krillan is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Krillan is working hard here to advance position.
Krillan tries to hold on but Cleo postures up.

Krillan can't escape the position.

Cleo looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Krillan has left one of his arms exposed and Cleo doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Krillan screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
