Edgars is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pantera - Walk. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jorge Garcia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edgars dips to his left and cracks Quentin with an uppercut!
Edgars avoids the body shot from Quentin.
Edgars takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Edgars digs a good body shot into Quentin's ribs.
The fighters circling - Quentin throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Quentin throws a body punch but Edgars moves out of range.
Humors Edgars seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Edgars enables Quentin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Edgars manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Edgars is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Quentin connects with a couple of short punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Edgars can't keep his opponent in guard - Quentin advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Quentin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Quentin connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Edgars can do anything to dispel that myth.
Quentin wants to control the pace but Edgars is squirming around nicely.

Edgars wants to get back to his feet.
Edgars takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Quentin postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Edgars out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Quentin goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
