Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lester Howell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vic Bauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howell lands a really nice looking cross but Bauer seems unphased.

Howell feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bauer's calf.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bauer checks a leg kick.
Howell looks to land a left hand but Bauer moved out of range nicely.
The fighters circle momentarily. Bauer darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Lester Howell has been cut.
Howell gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Bauer pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Howell back to the cage. Bauer follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Lester Howell's cut is getting worse.
Bauer keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Bauer throws a good cross that connects.
Howell finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Bauer moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Howell goes down! Can Bauer finish him!?

Bauer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bauer arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Howell's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
