The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
May tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vukota swivels and escapes.
May throws a half hearted mid kick.
May throws a lazy body kick
and Vukota counters with a head kick.
May throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Collin May seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
May is trying hard to land a takedown here. Vukota sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
May tries a head kick but it misses.
Vukota lands with a kick to the temple. May shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
May misses with an attempted mid kick.

May is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Vukota's half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
