Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Bates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flo Simba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bates comes to the cage accompanied by Kansas-Dust In The Wind. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Franklyn Lucas and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bates fails in his attempt to clinch.
Simba misses with a right hand
and Bates cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Simba throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bates sees it coming and avoids it easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Simba enables Bates to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Simba manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bates wants to control but Simba is keeping him busy.
Bates is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Simba doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bates.

You can see the frustration on Bates's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
