Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nico Diablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cain's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, A Warrior's Call. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Cain misses its intended target.
Cain slaps away a takedown attempt from Diablo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Diablo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cain.
Diablo takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Diablo shoots in looking for a takedown. Cain tries to sprawl out of it but Diablo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cain manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Cain tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Diablo was well out of range. Poor timing from Cain.
Cain stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cain wants it to stay on the feet.
Mike Cain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nico Diablo.

and Cain counters with a series of strikes. Diablo will be more careful next time no doubt.
Cain is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
