The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Routakirves defending well as Freeman loads up on a big left hand.
Routakirves looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Routakirves slips under a jab from Freeman.
Freeman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Routakirves throws a big shot that misses.
Routakirves swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Freeman counters with a nice uppercut.
Routakirves blocks a jab.

Routakirves decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Routakirves moves into full mount! Freeman won't be happy about that!
Routakirves misses with a head shot.
Routakirves looking to ground and pound but Freeman is blocking nicely.
Routakirves lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee warns Freeman that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Freeman tries to hold on but Routakirves pushes him away.
Freeman takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Routakirves working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Freeman turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Routakirves off and cradles Freeman's limp body as Routakirves celebrates with his corner.
