Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chael Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Cormier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cormier is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sick Puppies - You're Going Down. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chael Sonnen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Daniel Cormier!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cormier throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sonnen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cormier as he avoids it easily.
Sonnen takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Cormier displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sonnen.
Sonnen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Cormier slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Sonnen drops back looking for a leg! Cormier is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cormier manages to kick Sonnen off! Sonnen jumps back into Cormier's guard.
Sonnen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cormier controls Sonnen momentarily but Sonnen frees himself.

Sonnen trying to control but Cormier is working from the bottom.
Sonnen drops back looking for a leg! Cormier is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cormier manages to kick Sonnen off! Sonnen jumps back into Cormier's guard.
Sonnen wants to control from the top but Cormier keeps moving.
Sonnen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sonnen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Cormier wants to sweep here but Sonnen controlling him for the moment.
Sonnen drops back looking for a leg! Cormier is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cormier manages to kick Sonnen off! Sonnen jumps back into Cormier's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cormier throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Cormier should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Sonnen with a flurry of punches that miss.
Cormier keeping moving, preventing Sonnen from controlling successfully.
Cormier tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Sonnen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cormier is keeping the position for now.
Cormier is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cormier is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Sonnen advances to half guard.
Sonnen is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Cormier has managed to free his arm - good work.
Sonnen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Sonnen throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Cormier is looking to escape.
Sonnen is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Sonnen trying to control the action but Cormier is working from the bottom.
Sonnen in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Cormier tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Sonnen!
