PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sathias Pacstan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward A Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pacstan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is God Hates a Coward - Tomahawk. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy misses with an uppercut.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Murphy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Edward A Murphy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pacstan takes the fight into the clinch.
Pacstan lands a hook to the side of the head.
Pacstan is stalling here.
Pacstan pushes Murphy back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Pacstan makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Pacstan manages to pull guard.
Pacstan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Pacstan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Murphy with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pacstan to score with a decent uppercut.

Pacstan has hold of Murphy's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Murphy seems comfortable defending it but Pacstan has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Murphy is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Murphy is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Pacstan couldn't care less - he's delighted!
