Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Dravinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasiliy Khrapov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khrapov is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rocky road to Dublin (RUS). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khrapov misses with a right hand

and Dravinski counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Khrapov!

Dravinski is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Khrapov has escaped the position, nice work there.
Dravinski lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Khrapov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dravinski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dravinski works to advance to full mount. Khrapov defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Dravinski cracks Khrapov with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Dravinski thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Dravinski looking to isolate an arm here. Khrapov doesn't see it coming and as Dravinski extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Dravinski!

Paul Dravinski decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
