Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jakob Silfversberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Durden has chosen Pride as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jakob Silfversberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyler Durden!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Silfversberg misses with a left hand
and Durden counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Silfversberg takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Silfversberg darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Silfversberg not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Durden blocking the ground and pound attempt from Silfversberg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silfversberg missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Silfversberg misses with a head shot. Durden uses the momentum to regain guard.
Durden keeping moving, preventing Silfversberg from controlling successfully.

Silfversberg is looking to work some ground and pound but Durden has wrist control.

Durden bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Silfversberg misses with a wild combination.

Durden tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Durden throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Silfversberg avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Silfversberg uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Durden.

Durden throws a series of punches but Silfversberg moves out of range.
Durden rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silfversberg moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Durden throws a big shot that misses.
That kick from Durden tenderised Silfversberg's leg. Silfversberg is trying to keep his angry face on.
Silfversberg takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Tyler Durden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silfversberg moves away from the strike by Durden.
Durden swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Durden stuffs the takedown attempt from Silfversberg. Silfversberg gets slowly back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jakob Silfversberg will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Durden rushes Silfversberg and presses him up against the cage.
Silfversberg is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Durden pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Silfversberg wants a takedown but no success here.
Silfversberg is working for takedown but Durden is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jakob Silfversberg. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Durden misses with a punch to the body.
Silfversberg can't get the takedown.
Durden lands an elbow just above Silfversberg 's eye.
Durden misses with a hook from the clinch.

Silfversberg has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Durden is trying to keep an underhook but Silfversberg manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Silfversberg uses his free foot to push down on Durden's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Durden.
Durden holds on, trying desperately to control.

Durden is in a horrible position here. Silfversberg smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Durden manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Durden, under a barage of strikes from Silfversberg.

Silfversberg throwing shots but Durden is blocking nicely.
Silfversberg is keen to just control but Durden is a slippery customer.

Durden wants to get back to his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Durden throws a jab when Silfversberg was well out of range.
Durden throws a looping overhand right but Silfversberg ducks down to avoid it.
Silfversberg bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Durden moves out of range of the strikes.
Durden throws a nice outside leg kick.
Silfversberg closes the distance and clinches up with Durden, looking for a takedown. Silfversberg pushes Durden against the cage but Durden circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Durden waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Silfversberg.
Silfversberg throws a right and a left that both miss.
Durden takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Durden lands with a good body shot.
Durden thuds his shin into the meat of Silfversberg's side.
Silfversberg misses the jab.

Durden clinches up against the cage.
The referee calls for Silfversberg to work.
Durden lands a damaging elbow.
Silfversberg wants a takedown.
Durden taking a breather.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Silfversberg.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Durden creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Silfversberg wants a takedown but no success here.
Silfversberg takes an elbow to the forehead.


It looks like Jakob Silfversberg has been cut.
Durden comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Durden escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Silfversberg tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Durden was well out of range. Poor timing from Silfversberg.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Silfversberg throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Durden fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Silfversberg.
Durden misses with a series of wild punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Tyler Durden will probably get the nod - 10:9.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Durden throws a right and a left that both miss.
Silfversberg misses with a hook. Durden ducked under it nicely.
Silfversberg throws a lazy right hand but Durden sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Durden misses with an uppercut.
Durden doesn't manage to clinch there - Silfversberg circles away.
Durden swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Left hook, right uppercut from Durden.
Silfversberg will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Durden connects with a solid leg kick.
Durden's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Durden duly obliges.
Durden scores with a punch to the head.


Silfversberg is rocked!
Durden tries a head kick but it misses.
Oh Silfversberg is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Durden drops Silfversberg with a big left hand! Silfversberg is injured, injured bad! Durden jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
