The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mac scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Mac is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Mac works his way into full mount!
Mac moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Brian has worked his arm free - good work by Brian!
Brian manages to work his way to half guard, despite Mac's best efforts.
Mac is working for a kimura here but Brian manages to reverse the position and he's now in Mac's guard.
Brian won't allow Mac to sweep him here.
Mac lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Brian!

Mac prevents Brian from getting the reversal.
Mac jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Brian is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Brian and Mac has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Mac is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Brian has escaped the position, nice work there.
Mac is breathing heavily.

Mac is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Brian knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
You can see the frustration on Brian's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Brian is pushing Mac's head away, looking to escape. Mac manages to hold on to the position though.
Mac tries to advance position but instead Brian slips a leg back in to half guard.
Mac wants to pass to mount but Brian is defending the position.
Brian is looking for a sweep. Mac is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Brian has one foot on Mac's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Brian cracks the inside of Mac's front leg.
Brian lands with a kick to the ribs.
Brian lets loose with a powerful body kick. Mac will feel that in the morning.
Brian scores with a leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Brian clinches up against the cage.
Brian gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Brian escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brian throws a head kick that Mac semi-blocks.
It looks like Lil Mac has been cut.
Brian's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Brian duly obliges.
Brian lands a big head kick that sends Mac to the canvas! Brian follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
