Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Blimm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denny Prokopos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prokopos has chosen Deep River Blues - Doc Watson as his entrance music. The key to victory for Bobby Blimm has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blimm looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Prokopos lands a nice shot to the body.
Blimm misses with a kick to the body.
Prokopos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Blimm tries to avoid it but Prokopos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Blimm to the ground. Blimm escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Blimm does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Prokopos throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Blimm is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Prokopos's half guard.

Blimm frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Blimm cracks Prokopos with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Blimm jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Prokopos is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Prokopos and Blimm has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

You can see the frustration on Prokopos's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Blimm creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Prokopos sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Blimm connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Prokopos some visible discomfort.

Prokopos is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Blimm is defending well though. Prokopos let's go of the attempt for now.

Prokopos is trying to stick to Blimm's back but Blimm is turning into Prokopos. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Prokopos's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Blimm.
