The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slavas throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. The Bold was covering up waiting for the punch and Slavas finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Slavas is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Slavas controls from within his opponent's guard.
The Bold utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Slavas throws a big elbow that misses.
Slavas looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The Bold tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Slavas lands a couple of digs.
Slavas throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Slavas wants to pass the guard but The Bold is keeping the position.
The Bold really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slavas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Slavas trying to control the position from guard on top but The Bold is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The Bold looking to hit a scissor sweep but Slavas is one step ahead there.
Slavas slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Slavas passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for The Bold!

The Bold tries to improve his position but Slavas has taken his back! Slavas has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will The Bold tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Slavas pushes The Bold away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
