Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taylor tightens his grip and picks Diaz up, before dumping him to the ground. Diaz manages to land in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Taylor lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Diaz down.
Taylor cracks Diaz with a big right hand but Diaz just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Diaz takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Taylor 's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
