PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tiberio Celentano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Rodinerio Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Celentano comes into the arena with Now's My Time by D.J.I.G. blaring out of the sound system. Bravo has chosen Damian Marley - Confrontation as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Tiberio Celentano has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tiberio Celentano seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joey Rodinerio Bravo !
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Celentano lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bravo circles away quickly and effectively.
Celentano ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A slow jab from Celentano misses its intended target.
A big left from Celentano misses.
Celentano throws the left hand but Bravo avoids the punch easily.

Bravo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Celentano napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Bravo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Celentano knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Bravo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Celentano keeps working.
Bravo tries to advance position but instead Celentano slips a leg back in to half guard.
Still in half guard, Bravo seems content to control.
Celentano slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Bravo passes into half guard.

Bravo seems to be working for a kimura but Celentano defends the submission attempt.

Bravo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Celentano defends it well.
Celentano looks like he's trying to stand up.

Bravo has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Celentano defend it? Bravo steps over the head and cranks it - Celentano is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bravo !
