Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yoshihiro Imanari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sisi Taille (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Imanari scores with a jab. Taille acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Taille doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Imanari counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Taille fails with the takedown
and Imanari connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Taille gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Imanari counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Yoshihiro Imanari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sisi Taille.
Imanari lands with a nice body punch.
Imanari digs a good hook to Taille's body.
Imanari takes a swing at Taille's ribcage but misses.

Imanari bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Imanari has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Imanari lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Taille is not content to let Imanari control the position.

Imanari has hold of Taille's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Taille seems comfortable defending it but Imanari has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Taille is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Taille is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Imanari couldn't care less - he's delighted!
