Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Josef Jaeger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abcd Efgh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Efgh moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Jaeger looks to throw the jab but Efgh is out of range.
Jaeger shoots in but Efgh avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Efgh counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jaeger won't be happy with that.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jaeger has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Josef Jaeger.

Efgh gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jaeger, as that shot connected.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jaeger breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fighters circle momentarily. Jaeger darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Jaeger shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Efgh pinned against the cage. Efgh gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A very excited looking Josef Jaeger rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
