The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moodheads swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
No luck for Moodheads with that takedown attempt.
Danga de danga de dang - Begovic scores with a four punch combination!
Moodheads on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Begovic scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Moodheads really is a fat lump.
Begovic misses with a two punch combination.
Begovic tries to bum rush Moodheads with a series of wild strikes but Moodheads uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Begovic scores with a one two! Moodheads had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Moodheads is rocked!

Begovic rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Moodheads moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Begovic throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Moodheads.
Begovic leaves Moodheads with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Moodheads will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hal Moodheads. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Begovic looks to land a combination. Moodheads sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Moodheads fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Moodheads.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Begovic, as that shot connected.

Moodheads takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Moodheads. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Moodheads closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Moodheads is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Begovic is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Begovic can't do much from the bottom here.

Moodheads looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Moodheads working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Begovic looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Moodheads! Submission of the night perhaps?
