Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Henry Winkler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Machi Machiko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Winkler's entrance music is Mortal Kombat. A fine choice. Machi Machiko has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Henry Winkler's chin.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machiko misses with a body kick.
Winkler lands with an uppercut that bounces Machiko off the cage and back into range.
Winkler goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

and Machiko counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Machiko looks to land a left hand but Winkler moved out of range nicely.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Machiko.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Machiko scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

A looping hook to the body misses from Machiko. Winkler does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Winkler crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Machiko - the referee stops the clock and Winkler gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Machiko. Winkler manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Winkler connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Machiko in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Winkler shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Winkler lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Machiko circles away quickly and effectively.
Machiko swings widly with a right hand
and Winkler counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Machiko closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Winkler! Machiko dives in looking to finish! Winkler is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
