Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Grigoriev Maxim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Almodovar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maxim comes to the cage accompanied by Dolphin feat Stella - Eyes. Pedro Almodovar will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxim closes the distance and clinches up with Almodovar, looking for a takedown. Maxim pushes Almodovar against the cage but Almodovar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Almodovar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Grigoriev Maxim has been cut.

Almodovar leaves Maxim with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Almodovar has cracked Maxim with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Almodovar lands another huge swinging hook and Maxim tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Maxim, before Almodovar can land any more shots!
