Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kareem Kiram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hideo Kono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kareem Kiram has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kono throws a jab but it's blocked by Kiram .
Kiram fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kono keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kono tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kiram was well out of range. Poor timing from Kono.
Kono misses with a looping left.
Kiram is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kono fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kiram manages to avoid it.
Kiram wants to clinch.
Kono moves into range and connects with a jab.
Kiram walks into a stiff left hand from Kono.
Kiram doesn't manage to clinch there - Kono circles away.
The fighters circling - Kono throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kiram tries to move into range but Kono moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Kono lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kiram circles away quickly and effectively.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kono misses with a looping left.
Kiram moves forwards but Kono connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Kono catches Kiram with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Kiram is rocked!

Kiram digs a good body shot into Kono's ribs.
Oh Kiram is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kono throws a hook but Kiram blocks it.
Kiram seems to have got his legs back now.
Kiram is looking to clinch but Kono is avoiding it.

Kiram rushes Kono and presses him up against the cage.
Kono has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Kono tries a body shot but Kiram blocks it.
Kiram tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kono's elbow.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kiram .
Kono is looking to break free of the clinch but Kiram has double underhooks.

Kono breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A punch combination from Kono misses.
Kono might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Kono comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kiram swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kono throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kiram stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hideo Kono seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kono takes a swing at Kiram 's ribcage but misses.
Jab, jab by Kono - just one landing.
Kiram is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kono throws a big shot that misses.

Kono lands the left hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kiram is looking to clinch.
Kono scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Kono swats away the attempt to clinch by Kiram .

Kiram rushes Kono and presses him up against the cage.
Kiram misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Kiram breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kono changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kono scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Kono digs a good body shot into Kiram 's ribs.
Kono swinging wildly here.
Kono lands a nice hook to Kiram 's body. Kiram takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kiram is breathing heavily.
Kiram moves out of range as Kono strikes.
Kono dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kono lands with a right hand.

Kono paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kono throws a jab but it's blocked by Kiram .
Kono getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Nice uppercut there from Kono.
Kono drops Kiram with a naaaaasty hook - Kiram is in real trouble here! Kono dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
