Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake The Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gilles Gerard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake The Snake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gilles Gerard!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Snake scores with a jab to the jaw.
Gerard attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Gerard shoots for a takedown but The Snake saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
The Snake tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gerard was well out of range. Poor timing from The Snake.

Gerard throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as The Snake works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as The Snake holds on and takes a little breather.
The Snake is trying to keep Gerard in close.

The Snake has his foot on Gerard's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gerard works his way back into a safe position though.

The Snake utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Gerard makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Gerard postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The Snake looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The Snake isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Gerard stacks The Snake on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Gerard!

The Snake is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Gerard off and has taken his back!

I really don't envy Gerard right now.

Gerard is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
The Snake lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Gerard.
Gerard tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's time! The Snake's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

The Snake lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Gerard up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs The Snake from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Gerard's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jake The Snake!
