The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
de Jesus wants to clinch up but Malac keeps it at a distance.
Malac will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Malac fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Malac shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says de Jesus as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimbo Malac. That's going to take a lot out of him.
de Jesus stuffs the takedown attempt from Malac. Malac gets slowly back to his feet.
de Jesus lands a front kick.
Crunch! de Jesus slams his shin into Malac's torso.
Malac is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fight stays on the outside here - de Jesus looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Malac avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
de Jesus drops Malac with a beautiful combination! Malac stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - de Jesus is looking for the KO!

It looks like Jimbo Malac has been cut.
de Jesus tries to close the distance and clinch up but Malac swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Oh Malac is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Malac. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
de Jesus lands with a right and another and another! Malac is in big trouble! de Jesus lands again and this time it's lights out for Malac! A quality knockout there for de Jesus.
