PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randolph Swartz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ultimate Chaos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chaos has chosen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z78q_yvMYuQ as his entrance music. Ultimate Chaos told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Randolph Swartz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Ultimate Chaos!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swartz fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Chaos on the side of the head.
Chaos defending well as Swartz loads up on a big left hand.
Chaos fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Chaos walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Swartz misses with a straight left.
Swartz lands with a nice combination. Chaos backs away looking to recover.
Swartz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chaos stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Chaos avoids a punch combination nicely.
Swartz lands a nice hook to Chaos's body. Chaos takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Chaos takes one to the chin there.
Chaos throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Swartz swats away the attempt to clinch by Chaos.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Chaos.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Chaos got a little sloppy there for a moment and Swartz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chaos has managed to get both his arms back between Swartz's legs - danger averted.
Chaos must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Swartz paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Swartz cracks Chaos on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Chaos falls backwards against the cage. Swartz follows up with more strikes that drop Chaos to his knees. Swartz keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Chaos! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Randolph Swartz!
Randolph Swartz seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
